In Winchester, England lies an orphanage that isn't quite like all the others - Wammy's House. Founded post World War II by famous inventor Quillish "Watari" Wammy himself. Wammy's House is home to only the world's most genius and gifted orphans, in hopes that one day, one may succeed the legendary detective L. At present, the year is 2002, "Kira" has never been heard of, and the rivalry between Mello and Near is just as strong as ever. This is the place genius orphans live, learn, and sometimes even love, and here are their stories.
